EarthLink Toolbar is a handy application that allows you to have an easier and safer Internet search experience and you don't need to have a EarthLink Access. The program offers a real time protection against identity theft and other threats with a ScamBlocker, Pop-Up Blocker, Spyware scan and other security tools. Whenever you enter a website the program displays a security rating and alerts you if the site is considered to be fraudulent. The security tools allows you to manage your Internet data such as privacy settings and cookies. It also includes a search box powered by google that makes your search experience a breeze. It includes direct links to sites for finding information such as Smart Search, Yellow and white pages, Maps & driving directions, Email & people search. Other useful links for your interests and convenience include Weather, Stocks ticker, News, Sports, myReader, myFavorites, Travel, Shopping, Webmail, among others. It is available for both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. It supports Windows 2K / XP.
Note that it includes adware (The Weather Channel Desktop), but it can be unchecked during installation.
